Standard reactive units are designed for use on both 50Hz and 60Hz supplies. They produce a variable 0.1 to unity power factor load with maximum rated output at 480V, 60 Hz, 0.8pf. Maximum operating voltage at 60Hz is 480V and 400V at 50Hz. When used on lower voltages, the total load available will be proportionately reduced.
Special units of any rating can be manufactured to suit other supply voltages. Low and high voltages, frequencies and power factors can be accommodated.
All load banks are rated for continuous use in ambient conditions up to 35°C, with tropicalised versions available for use in locations with higher temperatures.
